FDX Class Projections

Looks like the 25 April class might be full. Any idea when the next class might happen in May and when they might start calling folks to fill it? Trying to wait patiently for the call...and praying daily.

The last couple classes have had at least one "no-show" for various reasons. If you "happened" to be in Memphis for opening day, you may be able to jump in the slot.

Only the 3/28 class had 1 no-show. 3/21 did not. As for being in MEM hedging on a no-show, that might be a great idea.

This is purely speculation, but the trend (at least for my interview group and groups that interviewed the same week as mine) seems to be 3 to 5 weeks after your interview/3 to 5 weeks prior to the class start date. Take this all with a grain of salt as the folks in AOD are very busy (lots of new hires = good thing) and it seems to be taking a little longer to get the word out then it used to in the past. Again, this is a very small data point and should be interpreted as such. TrapAv8r, when did you interview?

I interviewed 6 weeks ago in early March. One of the guys in our group got the dreaded rejection letter last Wednesday. Also, it seems many of the guys that interviewed right before us have already been called.

Trap - I interviewed Mar2 with 5 others. At least 5 of the 6 have all been called with April 25 start dates. We all got called last Monday the 4th.

Thanks for the update. I figured they were close. I am grateful to even get the call to interview, so waiting 6 weeks is a small price to pay for the honor of working at FedEx. It seems like they are waiting to start filling the May classes. Good luck at training!!

No, I didn't get numbers from KD. She did say that there were only 2 more vacancies in the 25 April class. Out of the 5 in our interview group, 3 will be in the 25 April class. 1 took a job at a different company (mostly due to the long wait for the call from FedEx, and he had to start class) and 1 got the rejection letter last week.
