The requirements for converting your US license to a Hong Kong licence are found in Hong Kong's CAD 54. It's around US $90 to subscribe so I have no idea what it says specifically but I do know a CAD pamphlet says:

"2.4.4 For the conversion of a foreign professional pilot's licence to a Hong Kong licence, exemptions from examinations may be granted either on the basis of flight experience or on previous examination results. Exemption details are stated in Part 3 Chapter 3 (for aeroplane) and Chapter 6 (for helicopter) of CAD 54."

I have always heard the Cathay could take care of this for you without you having to do anything special. Maybe there are some expat Cathay flyers on here that could way in with the specifics. In any case, I would agree with bob... if you have those requirements, you ought to be set.
