The gov. has spent hundreds of billions of dollars more than it recieves. They are in no way shape or form in any position to give raises to anyone on the gov. payroll. But that has never stopped them in the past. We shall see what impact it has on summer travel.

Looks like the controllers may feel some of the pain that those us on the other end of the radio feel with wage pressures. Fortunately for them I think they have a much better bargaining position. I'd rather bargain with Uncle Sam then and airline.
