He wasn't ousted, he did the right thing by resigning.

you can be sure it was resign in leu of.... but nevertheless...

We lost a good man. I've never had a DUI, but I know a few who have, it sucks but it doesn't make you evil or bad..

I'm curious to see who replaces him and if he's as good to pilots has he's been.

"We" didn't lose anybody. He sold "us" out. For a beer, no less. Great man, that one, absolute angel.

Sorry, as someone who had to drag his own father out of jail twice after a DUI arrest, I am absolutely intolerant of that behavior. From anyone, by anyone, for any reason.

Or maybe he couldn't afford a cab?
 
u are right like myself I have never had one, but people do make mistakes. They can learn from them.
 
It's just great isn't it, the whole industry saddled with the public perception that airline pilots are all drunks, and when we finally get an airline pilot in charge of the FAA...he gets a DUI....
