It is the tailhook for gear up landings.
 
Its a venturi... How else do they power the attitude indicator??? :)
 
it was used in a test to demonstrate the aircraft's air to ground payload capacity. . . .

That my friends is the GBU69 5 lb bunk buster (not to be confused with BUNKER buster as this surgically busts individual bunks within a bunker). .
 
It's where the pilot stores his purse, GARB, fanny pack and extra ascots for deployments.
 
I actually hear it is like one of the electric fences for dogs...it zaps you if you take the airplane anywhere near combat.
 
OK I'll jump in:

1. device that tricks F22 into thinking it is always on east coast time so computers don't shut down

2. external pod to carry circular saw to cut out pilot when canopy malfunctions
