So NWA announced their IPO plans for ExpressI yesterday. The bigger question is, their SEC filing included a commitment to increase RJs for 30 now to 83 by mid-2004. Does that mean the remainder of the 44-seater order is going to Mesaba? Anyone know anything?

Haven't heard any news of CRJ's as of this time, though the news of the spinoff is still pretty fresh. The last was, in essence, no CRJ's for us (Mesaba) until our contract is complete, which is scheduled for June.

It would seem that the remainder, or a good portion of, the CRJ's would come our way. Who knows, it's always a mistery as to what the higher powers are up too. The pilot group is typically the last too know. I'll bet by the time I get done posting there'll be some new headline news on all this!
