I was wondering if anyone knows what the mins are different sites post them at 500/100 or 600/100. Expressjet.com doesn't list mins does anyone know if they still have the current flying job as a min?

Guys from other regionals feel free to list thier airlines mins aswell.

Thanks

Quick question, your profile shows 800 TT so who cares if its 500 or 600, you already exceed the published mins for total time. Not trying to be a smart a$$, just curious.

I've mentioned this before but I'll explain it again.

First you need a pulse. If you do not have one you will not be hired.
You also need to be able to live on nothing for 3 months.
At one point you needed to be able to read a sentence; this may no longer be a requirement.

Finally, for those of you that fail to comprehend the regional airline hiring process here is how it works.

They hire in bulk (just like they lay off)
They start at the top of the application stack and call people. Eventually they will get to yours and if you have a pulse and can work for free (or close to it) you can be an airline pilot.

It probably helps to update your resume regularly but most importantly; you need to be alive and you need to be able to work for nothing.

I would do it for free because the uniform looks good and everyone is impresssed when i tell them I am a REAL airline pilot.

To answer your question.. The mins are 600/100. The only people I know who have gotten hired here with that kind of time are the former interns. Off the street I think most have been around the 800-1000+ range. I know from talking to our VP of Flight Ops, they have been getting alot of people with 121 time applying and are trying to get to them first.

Hey Russian, you should really remove the picture of Lenin from your avatar. Read the history about that dude to find out who he was if you're not familiar ...
