SkyBoy1981 said:I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe that you are flying with XJT Captains that are denying Mesa pilots the jumpseat. If you are, they are ignorant and the minority. I'm not a fan of Mesa myself, but even I know better than that. I call bullsh!t on this one.

Yeah, COEX guys really helped raise the bar thoughout the 90's when you had to pay $10K to Flight Safety to go through training! Give me a break. I've worked for Air Midwest / Mesa for quite sometime and no fan of JO at all, but some of you really need to remember your own airlines' history. Even if you were in grade school back then.coginthewheel said:but if you're goojet or mesa... ha. try it. most captains i know will use their discretion to make it harder for people lowering the bar to get to work.
StarChecker said:Why is it that only FO's post ridiculous statements like this? Mesa's contract sucks ass, but they're welcome as long as I'm welcome on theirs. However, the GooJets clowns can walk as far as I'm concerned.

It has to do with my response to the post I quoted talking about lowering the bar. Mesa sucks, and pretty much all regionals suck, morons like that need to get over themselves cause flying a CRJ ain't that cool and ain't that difficult either. Management at all of our companies has done something to screw the working man in this industry(with very few exceptions). He can blame our sh!tty contract, I can blame PFT. It goes on and on...SkyBoy1981 said:What does this have to do with anything?

CALnTX said:Sorry it was $8500 and back in the mid 90s most commutters were pft except for say Eagle and those guys are still sitting in the right seat of an RJ. Most if not all of those pfters at XJT are now at CAL in the right seat of a 757 or 737 and some are upgrading to Captain this year in the 737. Not a bad investment, aint' much different than a $7500 type just to get an interview at Southwest. SO hows life at MESA or Air Midwest?

Airline Job-$8500
Proudly paying for a job, cutting in line, lowering the industry-priceless
