I may be totally incorrect. But, Richard Bartlett I believe is one of the 6 investor/owners of Air Wisconsin. If it is, his 125 million dollar investment is paying off huge.

You mean Eastshore Aviation? Oh yah. Cashing in big. However, I'm not sure I blame them after getting the boot from United then investing in US Air right when it seemed that liquidation was immenent and then a lot of people wanted to invest in US Air. Eastshore, as far as I know, still has a seat on the BOD despite the selfoffs.

The rumor I'm starting is that they are going to turn around and invest that money in Midwest Airlines so that AWAC can add planes to Midwest Express and they can also buy 900s for US Air since Doug Parker said they have too many 50 seaters but want more 90 seaters. AWAC has a big, underutilized hangar in MKE just waiting for work.

And because I'd like it to happen that means it won't. <sigh>
