If evergreen would go under because their pilots got a contract that paralelled the rest in their sector, they are doomed anyway.
They need to whack the old man beside the head; stay firm. There is enough business out there that he will not walk away. He will cry and scream and threaten, he will bribe and finagle; he will cry poor me. You guys hang in there!

I wish Evergreen guys the best, and I don't doubt you DESERVE more.
But a strike is too often a dead end for your jobs and others'.
I'm not saying management deserves kudos for trying of extract the
last penny from the employee's work, I'm not an Evergreen employee, nor
have I ever worked there. But sometimes jobs just wouldn't BE there with a
better deal, alas.

Is this supposed to be a poem? intersting writing style there.
