You started it with this thread, then you get your panties wadded around your vagina when somebody calls you a scab. Classic.

I remember several days ago a skywest poster CHALLENGED anyone to find any posts that showed a skywest pilot GLEEFULL about taking ASA flying.

Thanks for proving what your group is made of without any work from us.

Skynation...

This is just Skynation under a new user name. This clown didn't have anyone on his jumpseat. When you make up BS flamebait-at least try and make it good BS!

Everyone knows that people who really have access to such information cannot legally share it with any member of the public. It is called "insider trading" just ask Martha Stewart about it-idiot!

-You are a complete MORON, Sky!

You guys are just jealous that skyw is enjoying success and that ASA is on its way out. I wonder if ALPA is going to pay your mortgage when you union thumpers drive your company into bankruptcy. And yes, the smiley face was necessary!!

I guess it is a good thing that being an airline pilot, does not mean you need: tact, decency, professionalism, and above all, common sense. Or you would also be un-employed.

oarfan,
If you left the rj and came to delta and flew the 88 in lga you'd be off reserve in just a few months. Delta has a contract too. Skywest has a policy manual thats printed on brown paper. Is there a reason why management chose brown?? Yup, you guessed it, the policy manual was printed on a $hitty roll of toilet paper. You probably don't remember the days at skywest when we had paper. Wow, delta even has long call reserve. First year delta pay is better than brasilia captain pay even after their raise. Oh wait, thats right, brasilia guys weren't worth a raise even though they fly 8 legs with only 18 minute breaks all day. Skywest pilots definitely are not scabs but you don't need to brag about the growth at someone elses expense. Life may be good puddling around in an rj the rest of your life. I know I had a good life. But after one day at a major you'd realize the contract and work rules are better than skywest and life is much better. Pay is not even comparable. Only one year flying around at bro captain rates....oh what a bummer. Hope I can tough it out! About the only thing better at skywest is the travel privileges on multiple carriers. But wait, don't you have to pay to ride on your own airplanes now?? Kudos to skywest management for doing such a great job. Their stock has done well. Too bad the pilot group has lowered the bar for the whole industry. As far as furloughs go, I can't predict the future. A little research though can help you choose the right major. Good luck with the psyche eval!

Time to flame, man flight info can be fun.

Now you know better than that coop, come on. This guy does not represent us, you're smarter than that. He is a waste of space, yes, but the overwhelming majority of us do not share his opinion or his ignorance, even the ones who voted "no". How do you even know he works for OO? This is just flamebait, plain and simple.

Actually, one of the first requirements listed to hold an ATP certificate is "Must be of good moral character". A lot of people who post on FI (on both sides of almost ANY argument) disqualify themselves by virtue of their behavior, even if this is "just an internet message board".

People talk about professionalism alot, they just don't always consider what it means.

Flaimbait this may very well be my Skywest friends, but as for those of you who voted no, wether it be an actual vote or failing to pick up the phone, I would say you have all shown yourselves to be extremely shortsighted.

You said no to the very form of representation which is directly responsible for every single benefit of your chosen profession. Weakening that organization will only come back to haunt us all, wether we stay at the regional level or choose to move up to the majors.

I wonder just how many of you NO-VOTERS will say no, when it comes time to join the union at your major airline job?

Or better yet, at the job interview, will you man-up and make it clear to the pilots doing the interviewing that you voted no for a union at Skywest?

Or will you suddenly become a card carrying AFL-CIO left wing supporter of the labor movement and tell the interviewer how you were one of those who voted yes and you are leaving Skywest because ALPA didn't get on the property!!!

Somehow I think we all know the answers to these questions. I'll let you come up with your own self describing terms for your actions, as mine are not fit for print.

Very true-

I will also be the first to admit, I have said some pretty bad things about people on here, but it was Hojets, so I dont count that. But, it was such obvious FLAME that I needed to say something before I needed to start my court appointed anger mgmt classes again. For what it is worth sir, I do not hold anything against SKYW pilots.
