Taipei's air quality is good in comparison to Hong Kong or any of the big Chinese cities. Wouldn't be a problem to live there from that standpoint.\

Last I've heard is that they are taking those pilots on the MD90 from JAL. Also, CI is taking something like 30 pilots from JAL on B744.
