Stumbled upon this link while readign about the SC eathquake...

Anyway, they're looking for:

A320 CA/FO
A330/340 CA/FO
B777 FO

Don't know much about them but they're based in Abu Dhabi while Emirates is based in Dubai. Both are ordering record numbers of a/c.

I think that it's great that they've got a picture of their hot FA's on the linked page without mentioning that you'll be beheaded if you get caught fooling around with one of them.

They are also ordering something like 50 787s and they are paying with cash... If you really, really want to fly a 787 someday maybe Etihad should be your choice.

Hi!

I have read a lot about living in U.A.E.

I think that it's great that they've got a picture of their hot FA's on the linked page without mentioning that you'll be beheaded if you get caught fooling around with one of them.

U.A.E. allows drinking, gambling, bikinis on the beach, and there is lots of prostitution.

I HAVE heard of foreigners doing stupid stuff, and they are forced to leave the country.

While it is true that PDA is frowned upon (some recent tourists were arrested and fined for having sex in public on the beach, and going topless, etc., if fooling around w/FA's got you in trouble in U.A.E., I think a lot of aircrews wouldn't be still working for Emirates.

Dubai, the largest city in U.A.E., is the Monte Carlo of the Middle East. Many Euro crews jumpseat there to party on the weekends.

There are also more British citizens living in Dubai, than there are Emirates. Emirates has female pilots flying for them, including at least one native female.

Dubai, and U.A.E., are transforming themselves from an oil state, to a multicultural global trading zone. They are changing and modernizing. It is NOT the same as living in Redneck, IN, but it is NOT the same as living in Saudi.
