22 E-170's have been delivered, but deliveries will be suspended until lenders and UAIR can come to an agreement. Since the first 35 deliveries are all owned by GECAS and leased to UAIR, I'm sure ERJ wants clarification from GECAS that these a/c will not be returned to ERJ if UAIR defaults or goes chapt 7. The remaining 50 a/c are financed by the Brazilian BUNDES Bank.

Brazil Embraer says suspends US Airways deliveries

Wed Sep 15, 2004 12:25 PM ET

SAO PAULO, Brazil, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer (EMBR4.SA: Quote, Profile, Research) (ERJ.N: Quote, Profile, Research) on Wednesday said it had suspended aircraft deliveries to US Airways (UAIR.O: Quote, Profile, Research) after the No. 7 U.S. airline filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for a second time in two years.

"Deliveries are temporarily suspended while Embraer's negotiations with US Airways and the main financiers continue," said a spokeswoman for Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica (Embraer), the world's No. 4 commercial aircraft manufacturer.
