Hi!

The cheapest round trip fare I found on Eos was $3700. They have a 6'6" lie-flat "suite". It will seat 2 people for short periods. They fly across the pond.

MAXjet was $1700. They have 2x2x2 seating (767s I think), and fly across the pond, plus other US destinations. They just applied for SEA to Shanghai.

I have been interested in applying at MAXjet and Eos. I don't have enough hours for Eos (5000 TT FW). MAXjet doesn't have a way for pilots to apply (no openings showing). I heard that some guys HAVE recently gotten hired.

No big deal so don't take offense, but ther is no such thing as a B757 ER. Boeing simply has never differentiated between the these airframes.

There is an ETOPS version of the 757. It has some additional equipment (HMG, etc) that the standard 757 does not have.

Just got a call from Eos.Do not know anybody there, I think I applied 4 months ago, never heard anything from then, was pretty suprised. Any more info since the last post. Quality of life, stability, growth, where and how is training and last but not least, how do the Crews like it?. Appreciate any response.

Adding more 757s for new routes - EWR-STN and JFK/EWR-Paris (not sure which airports for that route). Load factors are strong and EOS is considered more luxurious than Maxjet - it has a loyal following. Sounds like EOS is doing pretty well.

I presume it would be helpful to live in the NY area but not required.

Thanks. Any info on websites containing interview profiles? I was told that they are starting JFK-paris and London-Dubai!!upgrade time 12-18 months, starting fo pay 66$ ,captain 113$.maybe someone out there works for Eos?.Any info is helpful.

Chief Pilot

Is DW still the Chief Pilot and what do you guys/gals think of him? He was not popular at his last airline and crossed the picket line at Eastern.

Maybe limodrive means that if they stay like in Downtown london or near airport?

Maybe he means if crews stays in some decent hotel in downtown or some close to STN airport?

Have you ever thought about that?

I am an Eos pilot, what would you like to know?
How's the pay, schedule, bases. How do the Crews like it? I appreciate any info you might have. Thanks.

Hello everyone...I've been out on a trip for a few days. We stay at clean hotel close to the airport and the train is with in walking distance. the pay is as follows:
FO
1 - 65.92
2 - 67.24
3 - 68.58
4 - 69.95
5 - 71.35

Capt
1 - 112.27
2 - 114.52
3 - 116.81
4 - 119.14
5 - 121.52

Scedules right now is one of the biggest issue's with the crews, they need some improvement and right now staffing is a big contributing factor. For the most part people seem to like it here but have hopes for improvement. The only base we have right now is JFK. 08 we start flying to Paris and EWR, when the base issue was addressed the response was basically anywhere we fly could be a potential base. Eos has a lot of potential. The crews right now seem to put up with poor schedules and payrates that can use improvement but I don't know how long that will last. Some people have left for bigger and better things while some have passed up recall to stick it out here and work towards a brighter future. Hope that helps good luck.
