Chief Pilot

Is DW still the Chief Pilot and what do you guys/gals think of him? He was not popular at his last airline and crossed the picket line at Eastern.

Maybe limodrive means that if they stay like in Downtown london or near airport?

Maybe he means if crews stays in some decent hotel in downtown or some close to STN airport?

Have you ever thought about that?

I am an Eos pilot, what would you like to know?
How's the pay, schedule, bases. How do the Crews like it? I appreciate any info you might have. Thanks.

Hello everyone...I've been out on a trip for a few days. We stay at clean hotel close to the airport and the train is with in walking distance. the pay is as follows:
FO
1 - 65.92
2 - 67.24
3 - 68.58
4 - 69.95
5 - 71.35

Capt
1 - 112.27
2 - 114.52
3 - 116.81
4 - 119.14
5 - 121.52

Scedules right now is one of the biggest issue's with the crews, they need some improvement and right now staffing is a big contributing factor. For the most part people seem to like it here but have hopes for improvement. The only base we have right now is JFK. 08 we start flying to Paris and EWR, when the base issue was addressed the response was basically anywhere we fly could be a potential base. Eos has a lot of potential. The crews right now seem to put up with poor schedules and payrates that can use improvement but I don't know how long that will last. Some people have left for bigger and better things while some have passed up recall to stick it out here and work towards a brighter future. Hope that helps good luck.

Thanks from the great info!

Is there perdiem and how much! Does crew gets meal during flt?

How about parking at JFK?

What about health benefits?

When you come back to JFK they opviously expect you to go home , or your crashpad, is that correct?

per diem is $2.40 and yes you get fed very well during the flt. Health benefits start at day 1 and yes when you get back to JFK you go to the crashpad or hop a flt home if your schedule permits.

Thanks for all the great info.

You are basically correct. There are a few guys that have been sitting home waiting for IOE. There are two reasons they have been waiting so long. First is that EOS ran one big class rather than two small classes. This caused a log jam when they all got out of the sim. The biggest problem is that the FAA has not been available to give the new LCA their observation flights. They have been waiting months to get them done. The FAA now says they will not be able to do them till January.
They are hiring ten a month. The next class is in January. The Jan class was filled last month. I am sure the Feb class was filled with people from last weeks interviews.

Anybody seen any big job postings to fill the vacancies in the FAA? They must be short-handed or just really F**king lazy!!
We're having the same problem at NAA with one exception of it being sim checkrides. None of the FO's are coming out of training with types like they're suposta because we have no FAA support. Atleast not in the last 3 months.

Eos and NAA have the same POI.He says they are very short handed.

Will someone please tell me what the difference is between EOS and Skybus? NOTHING!!! Just yet another POS startup carrier paying substandard wages to pilots willing and stupid enough to jump at the opportunity to work below industry average pay....but hey, you get to fly a shiny jet with new paint and NOW, International destinations....WOO HOO!

IMO, I think that ANY pilot willing to work at one of these carriers should be blacklisted FOREVER from EVER gaining work at an ALPA carrier.
