Just saw this banner ad on another website - who the heck would go to Envoy these days with the threats of more furloughs and fleet reductions, etc.:

Pilots

Fly with distinction.

Envoy is the largest regional provider to American Airlines. We fly the Canadair CRJ-700 and the Embraer EMJ-140/EMJ-145. Envoy pilots enjoy an extensive benefits package and travel privileges.

To begin your career with Envoy, start by completing an application at AirlineApps.com today! Pilots can apply and interview before meeting FAA ATP minimums. Selected pilots will begin new hire training once reaching the minimum hours for a restricted ATP certificate.

Pilot applicants that successfully clear the recruitment and selection process will be eligible to receive a $5,000 sign on bonus with the agreement to sign a two year Letter of Commitment to fly for Envoy Air. Your wings are waiting. Apply today!

Crj 700s going to others, EMBs being phased out.

You'd have to be pretty desperate to work for AE now. I'm hearing only about 20% of those hired actually show up for training.

The 5k hiring bonus has been going on for a few years now. Nothing new there. CRJ-700s aren't going anywhere anytime soon. They MIGHT go somewhere eventually. Emb-145s are staying and only half the -140s are being parked by next year. Not as grim as you experts put out there. And no, you don't pay to non rev anymore.
