Connie lost one of a straight pipe diesel 8 a few years back. I seem to recall that a Red Tail 72 lost one once also

Evergreen dropped one in the parking lot of the Cherry Hill mall in NJ back in the late 80's early 90's.

Evergreen 747 dropped and engine in the early/mid 90's after takeoff from PANC. Severe Turbs caused the pylon failure.:erm:

What airline was it (I'd guess back in the 60's) that had a 707 with a wing fire and I believe it dropped the #4 engine. Someone actually caught a picture of the airplane flying over a freeeway with the flames and black smoke entrail. They landed safely but lost a big section of wing

Evergreen never dropped one in NJ but they did have #2 come off A/C N473EV in ANC in the early 90's while flying for JAL.

Your assuming that the Kalitta 747 actually left with all 4 engines attached.

Is that all the insult you have to banter?

Are you forgetting Kalitta developed a reputation for a reason?

Or is it you just dont understand tounge-n-cheek humor?

737-200s

I believe Piedmont and USAir (separately) each dropped a motor in the mid/late 80s.

Single engine 737-200 time ...literally.
