Is an endoresment letter the same as a letter of recomendation? I have written LORs for others, but never heard of an endoresment letter until discussing AirTran. Could you please list an example of an endorsement letter.

Before I start begging/stalking long lost connections, what is the best way of asking for their generous assistance. Should I already have a letter typed for them to sign?

Once my magic genie delivers 2 LORs w/ cover letter/resume, where do I ask them to deliver the package? An earlier post advised not to consult w/ the chief pilot.

Thank you for all of your previous assistance and I promise if I ever get hired at AirTran I will stop posting questions.

I assume you mean by an endorsement letter you mean something more like a general "job well done" type of letter as opposed to "I think this candidate would make a great candidate for XYZ airways"?

I have a few of those "job well done" types of letters that I have kept around from various employers. So I too am curious if those count.
