Well cl604
Not wanting to be sarcastic about your a/c flown answer, unfortunately it does matter to Emirates, so for the most part if you don't have time in a/c over 30 tonnes you won't get a call until they withdraw that requirement.

Overseas Boy

I have had the screen name for over 7 years. Not flying that anymore and I am currently planes above 40 tons. Don't judge till you know the facts my friend.

If I was judging you I wouldn't have started my answer with a sincerely worded comment about the type of answer you gave to a/c flown. I was however trying to explain why you may not have gotten a call yet.

I'm glad you're flying a/c over 40 tonnes hopefully EK will be in touch. Good luck.

I submitted my application online, never went to a roadshow. Got an email and was scheduled for an interview within a week. Decided not to go and politely declined. This was last summer and since have received numerous emails and PHONE CALLS asking to set up an interview time. Not sure why they keep calling me since there are plenty of guys more qualified then myself. I guess my point is, there really is no rhyme or reason. Just keep trying.

Huskers1....wish that would happen to me, guess gotta be a little more patient.

Overseas boy I know you were only trying to help. Hope a little more time will help and get that call from them soon. Thanks for you guys input

Also note that if the airplane you fly is over 60 tons but isn't what EK considers an "airliner" you wont get a call. Which was the case for me. All modern biz jets don't comply with this minimum.

They've e-mailed me a couple of times...Nothing larger than a CRJ50. Said I needed just 1 hr in a CRJ700 or larger....

Honestly, after thinking about it, unless put in a bind, I can't do "time" in that part of the world... That's just me personally.

just lie about it.....they aint gonna really check. and if they do then you aren't in any worse shape than yesterday.

times are tough, be aggressive.

Honesty should always prevail. All it takes is some kind of incident or accident to have the authorities crawl through your records. Remember, everything you put on paper or into a computer as a pilot can be considered a legal document by somebody.
