ASA was the creme de la creme of what CAPT had to offer. Thanks to delays at CAPT, my resume didn't make it in fast enough before they put a hold on things.

Pinnacle was suffering from all sorts of instability along with NWA's mess.

Focus Air is an opportunity with an up-start (which I had enough of in my past career) to be someone's b!tch for a year doing paper pushing (which I can make a lot more outside of aviation and was NOT what I went to CAPT for). Then they offer you FE training for your second year. And in the contract, IF they have availability, they will offer you right seat. That's 2 years and a BIG IF for me.

My goal was to capture a dream after so many years of not knowing I could have done it (thanks high school guidance counselor). I wanted a fast way to get in at my age. I didn't want to waste time with CFI. I wanted a short, intense training to get me qualified. CAPT met all my requirements with a Riddle reputation to boot! After CAPT, with low time, you're not applying anywhere except where THEY decide to sent your resume.

get a corporate job in the right seat, build some time, and go from there. If you don't want to come to Pinnacle thats fine, but first year FO pay is going to be less than what you're expecting anywhere you go. As for the loans, once you're working you can use proof of income to get them defered.

Hey, if you know a corporate job that will take my time, I'm listening.

I think Davison is hiring either at RSN or in BTR, not sure though. I know several people that flew for him from the right seat, low time. Otherwise there is PCL, we'd be glad to have you and again, you can get your loans defered based on income, I'm doing it.

He He...that was a good one.

I can't seem to find any information on Davison. Does anyone have a web site for them?

wahoo250,

What corporate gig hires low time pilots? Not to bust your bubble but everywhere I look they're looking for hours in the thousands, not low hundreds.

Funny F Ninja- you want everyone else to do all the work for you. You are very lazy! To quote you from some of your past posts-

"Thanks, I gave up on aviation so you can sleep tight now."

"Thanks McNugget for the fuel guy for flight idea. I'm really not interested in making money flying airplanes. And I certainly don't want to be sitting right seat telling some guy "more right rudder" and not flying the plane outside of a 15 NM radius from the airport. :)"

"How to whore myself out?
Does anyone have any information or clarification on FARs regarding someone who is interested in whoring himself out as a pilot? Basically, I'm looking to fly on the weekends (out and backs) but I don't have any money to do so. My credentials:

Private ASEL, AMEL
Commercial ASEL, AMEL
Instrument
459TT/101ME"

Your a real winner F Ninja! I personally would go out of my way to offer you a position flying my aircraft-NOT!!!!

Lazy? Hrm...how about we get one thing straight here. I don't want to fly for a career anymore. If I so happen to find a gig that invovles flying, it will be for fun and/or doing someone a favor (free of charge). So tell me how I'm asking people do to work for me? Any information I find regarding job opportunities is so that I can pass it along to the other 33% of the people that didn't get hired out of CAPT. Lazy? I think NOT!

P.S. Did you try Googling Davison? All sorts of crap comes back that has NOTHING to do with a corporate flying company.

Just so you know that I'm not pulling your leg- here's the info. I should charge you for doing your research, but you've bitched enough about how broke you are because of Riddle! So here it is Mr. Lazy-

Hrm...so far I've come up with pages of everything from personal home pages to lawyers. You want to call me lazy? If it helps you sleep at night, go right ahead. I KNOW how much effort I've already put into looking for jobs, etc. Like I said, I'm done looking for a flying job. And how do you know the Davison you found is the save Davison that the other guy was referencing? Yeah, trying thinking outside of the box...for a 7400+ hour pilot, I don't think I need to remind you to think outside the box.

LOL! Oh lord...good thing you're a pilot because your research skills are weak!

Davison Transport = http://www.davisontransport.com/careers.htm

It's a god damn trucking company! LOL! Sheesh...that one was good...man, thanks for the laugh.

RSN=Ruston LA. Dumb Ass! I really don't think you are trying to think outside the box very hard. After this post I will start charging by the minute for my info. Get off you lazy ass and call, fax, e-mail, send a banner tow, smoke signal, or whatever else just get off the friggin puter and get a life! Do something with the info that has now been handed to you on a silver platter! How do I know that the Davison is the same as what the other guy was refering to? I guess I'm just a little smarter than you- that's why I have a good paying career in aviation grasshopper! Good Luck.

Humm-OK so trucking company's can't own airplanes? What about FedEx and UPS dumb ass!

Man, I'm just having fun with you now. And again, how many times do I have to tell you that I am not looking to enter the aviation industry for a career? You must be a hoot to fly with...I can just imagine the number of "say again" you say every flight to ATC. What airline do you fly for? I'll be sure to ask the gate agent on my flights to avoid yours.

I think they call this double talk-"Hey, if you know a corporate job that will take my time, I'm listening."

"What corporate gig hires low time pilots? Not to bust your bubble but everywhere I look they're looking for hours in the thousands, not low hundreds."

Why do you keep looking if you are not interested? And by the way, you would never be welcome on my jumpseat!

THIS trucking company doesn't appear to have any airplanes. And even if they did, there certainly no jobs for pilots on their careers page. So we're back to square one. I was more curious as to how many hours they were looking for because I have yet to find ANY corporate gig that didn't want hours in the thousands. That guy knows I have less than 500.

Anyway, I got nothing against you really. Aviation is more of an on-going comedy routine to me at this point.

P.S. Since I don't work for an airline, you don't have to worry about your precious jumpseat.

FN: I'm not interested in a career in aviation.
VS: Say again?

AGAIN. If I hear something or find something, I got a few people that I'd like to pass the information to out of CAPT without a job. They're still interested. I can at least be a pal and help them out. No?
