According to the chief instructor here at PRC, DAB only has nine operational aircraft remaining after this. The mailing list passdown said that they're going to try to get new airplanes by the start of the spring semester (Jan. 10th or so), but I have doubts about that one. Terrible...

Luckily, no one was badly hurt or killed. It's a sad thing to see all of those airplanes, which I've flown many times, thrown all over campus like that. Usually if a big storm is coming they have 4 point steel chain tie downs, but against a tornado I guess they are no match. Avgas and sharp metal all over campus too. What a mess. Guess I'll be looking for another job sooner than expected...
