Not sure about more, but you never know. A Wexford headhunter is trying to cut some costs. Seems it's costing us a lot of money to play airline. Nevermind the tired airplanes we have that they can't figure out why we're spending so much to maintain.

IP, there's also a picture on the training door just down from the manuals.

Any day now! ;)

Didnt I hear on good authority that the training coordinator AND the director of training were furloughed, and that another round of furloughs was coming down the pike?
Yes on the first two, the third is news to me. I assume it's just a rumor since the last dozen on our list are pretty new, not all of them are even done with IOE. Doesn't make sense to hire them and then furlough them two months later when nothing has changed in that time.

Nothing to be sorry about. None of this is a surprise... Almost every post on this thread that sez "we're getting the 170's!" is tongue-in-cheek. We know we ain't getting them.

Who said we aren't making money?

You're new to airlines, aren't you? :-)
Relative to many, yes. :)

What I meant was that our staffing requirements have not evolved away from what was expected a few months ago when the decision was made to hire a dozen new pilots... other than the slowing of the outflux of pilots (not surprising to anyone who can operate a calendar).
