If the pay is going to be the same, who cares if skywest gets the E-170/175? I'm not gonna go through 2 months of training just to get paid the same

At least someone gets it. But too many afflicted with SJS will salivate at the chance to fly "such a big plane". They may even be willing to take a cut for it.

True. It's essentially the same plane we have now, just a bit roomier inside and the engines are under the wings. No doubt there will be a bunch of people lining up to fly it at any price

I am voting/proposing a pay cut for the dickscratch group, since the company already gets subsidized by the state for hiring the retarded and letting them play with computers and call them dispatchers.

So a 10 year 900 CA will get about $82/hr if the raise is about 3%. Delta has a 10 year CA rate on the CRJ 900 that is $97. Why don't you say no and maybe some day some of you can fly the 900's as Delta pilots.

XPOO I respect your opinions, but if fuel prices hit $100.00 dollars, it is not Skywest pilot that will be on the street with no jobs.

It is the ticket buyers that would have to pay the fuel surcharge.

So anyway, how long is this pay proposal suppose to have an ammended time? B'cause acoording to SAPA, pay with SGU is negotiated every year?

I can't speak for other departments, but Dispatch has not negotiated pay proposal in over 16 months. Took two months from first offer to final signature. Proposal runs through to 2009. So, Dispatch will more than likely not be approaching another proposal for another 2 years.
