Hello,

My buddy has his one year checkride coming up at Skywest soon and wants to know how to purchase one of those Brasilia Systems Study Guides. I used to have one but gave it away years ago and it was a big help to me. I'm sure my friend will find it very helpful.

Thank you in advance and fly safe!

P.S. It came in a binder with color-coded diagrams of all the systems and overhead panel.

Tell him to call the training department and re-give him the one they gave him in new hire training...same thing, except it was on a CD..and he doesn't have to pay for it...

Better yet ask some of the Capt. he is flying with if they have some notes they wouldn't mind sharing with. Tell him to know the memory items and he will be just fine on the sim ride. SkyWest needs the pilots, if he fails it was 100% on him and no one was trying to diss him. Trust me on this one. I know a little more then the average joe here ;)

That worked pretty good for me .... On the couple of trips before my probie checkride, i'd pick the captain's brain about one system or another. Sometimes they knew a lot and provided a lot of insight. Sometimes we'd both be belly up at the hotel computer looking stuff up. Either way it helped me a lot....

Thanks!

I'll pass the info on to him. He's having a blast at Skywest and just wants to do a great job on his off-probation ride.

Thanks again!
