Just curious of how new hires are paid while in training, whether it is the full First Officer pay or a reduced amount. Also are you put up in company housing during training or hotels?? Thanks for any input.

Full basic pay from the first day. What you don't get is the flying pay for the first few months. Once you start line training the flying pay starts.

Most of the time you go from the airport right to your permanent accommodation. Sometimes you can be placed in a temporary apartment until you're permanent accommodation becomes available.
