Word on the street (from EA50 dealers) is "any day."

it only has 4 seats, so, having no experience with one i would guess no and numerous.

Exactly the reason I asked for "real operators" help. The airplane has a 5 seat configuration with a 6 seat option.

The 500 is awfully small.....plus it's the "A" model.

I agree. The Mustang is twice the airplane of the EA500. It is a five pax airplane though (the side facing seat is not belted). If you would like "real world" numbers I could shoot them to you?

Folks,

Our flight department is considering adding an airplane for short 300-400 nm missions. We have been tossing around TBM 700/850 and Pilatus PC-12. I know the data on these airplanes but there seems to be a lack of REAL numbers on performance and costs of the EA50.

I know the sales info but what do you real operators have to say? What are the issues? Any achillies heels? What don't you like? What do you like? Can we put 6 people in it and go anywhere? Are there CG issues if we do this? What is the REAL DOC?

Sounds like a B200 would fit perfectly. 6 people, 300-400 miles....no CG issues, plenty of support & reliability.

What about a Sierra Industries Eagle mod on the Citation. That bird would be pretty sweet for your application.
