Has anyone tried an earpiece headset in a turbo prop? Specifically the plantronics, telex, and panther electronics. I was just curious if the noise reduction is enough.

Here is the site for panther, they make a lot of great claims. Can anyone give an opinion on them.

I am going to purchase a set as a "back up" to my Telex Airman's. I have heard from a friend that they work extremely well.

A very lightweight, unique, and innovative design so looking forward to giving them a shot. You may want to post this on the major board for more replies.

do a search on panther.. you will find a varied amount of opinions... A few good, many average and some negative.

Personally.. they are still "improving" their product and not all products are available presently. I am going to wait a bit longer before giving them a try.

I think marv golden also has them for the least expensive

Thanks for the info I will check them out. Do you know how long they have been around? Has anyone tried a telex 5x5 in a Turbo prop, only with dual earpieces?
