I came back from Dubai last month. I really enjoyed the flying, but however I hated-HATED living in that sh!t hole place in the middle of the desert!

Money was tax free, actually up to 87,500 as an Ex-pat, but only being there 4.5 months I never made that.

Great example of why money doesnt make you happy. I recall either you or someone else posting some nice shots of the luxury accomodations they provide for crews. Once again, the shine wears off quick.

What's the matter? Couldn't crack Purdue or U of Illinois? I understand. I would be full of resentment too.

W

Purdue has out of state tuition so there goes that option. U of I is way to big and their flight program at the time I was applying was not as good. But I was accepted just decided to go elsewhere.

I tend to lead towards what you are saying. It seems that he always ends up at the "dream" job, then when someone asks him about it, he goes silent. Many have sent him PM's regarding his M.E. job that went unanswered, including myself. Oh well, whatever makes him happy. So who is this new company??
I answered those that I could, I got many of them. And I am implied to help those that I know. Now that I am gone you can have the job. www.prestige-jet.com contact Gerry Dolan see what he has, last I heard he had not filled my position, and another one of the Captains I was flying with is leaving also. What you believe does not really matter to me.

What you believe does not really matter to me.
Then why do you feel the need to emphasize in every other thread, how great this new job it. How we're just jealous of you. How much money you're making and what kind of bennies you have?
It's because you want us to believe that you.

Let's think about this. You flew for Eagle fresh out of college. You felt the need to leave for Dubai to make some real coin. Now, if you had a lot of expierence, you could have found a equally paying job here in the states. Unless you really felt the need to see the middle east.
But then, you're going to try and tell us that you landed a G-V job, with no type rating and no time in a G-V. Knowing how insurance companies are, and how the Chicago operations are, I really find it hard to believe that they would go ahead and hire you with no G-V time and type you.

Like I said believe it or not. Aviation is about who you know, not what you know.
No need to emphasize anything. But when someone starts calling me stupid and inbreed for going to SIU I find it nice to be able to point out that I have the job that he would love to have.

There is no need to defend yourself on a message board. Half these people on here are inbred and stupid with the ******************** they say.

What really makes your job so special?? Maybe in your eyes, but that doesn't everyone wants it. So what Chicago airport are you currently flying out of w/ the new job??

Are you an inbread?

Let's get something straight junior...you are the one that comes in here spouting off about your "perfect" job with a condescending tone towards everyone else. I've dealt with your SIU ilk before...cocky, smartass, smug, know-it-all, with little stones to back it up.

Truth be told, you have some serious self-image issues that leads you to make these posts about your glorious experiences and job.

IF you landed a G-5 job with no type and no time...congrats..'cause you did some serious nostril to anus time to get it. Either that or your _____(daddy, mommy, brother, uncle, grandpa, etc.) intervened on your behalf.

As far as me wanting to throw Richie Rich's bags, sit in HPN for 12 hours, serve drinks, and rub my nose in his breetches...guess again....you could offer it to me tomorrow along with your 85K salary and occasional exotic destination..and i'd politely decline.

Lose your lame ass attitude. My guess is you kiss everyone's ass at work.

W

85K salary? Ha, that laughable! But you are right I had to do some serious brown nosing to get the job, but I think it was worth it. I do not know why you think that I am throwing bags and pouring drinks? We have two full time flight attendants. Sometimes on the rare chance that the boss does bring large bags we will load them in the back for them. But I hear that the Christmas bonus makes it all worth while.

Pretty much the same product from of all aviation colleges. They want it all because they feel they've earned it by taking 4 years of FMS101 or CRJ 202.

To believe or not to believe SUI dude, that's up to you

Getting a G-V job without a type and coming from an overseas gig is something that doesn't happen. If it happens as SIU dude says then he is leaving out a chunk of info on the how and what.
Now I've seen maybe a few Gulfstreams over time and each one I've seen the pilots loading the luggage. I've NEVER seen a single FA loading luggage.
He knows (if he's been around the corporate side) that it could disappear as quick as it comes. Always have that resume ready, keep making contacts and put away some of that bonus too. Either way, good luck and hope it doesn't end to soon.

I said the FA is the oone serving the drinks. And of course I am leaving some out, I have been around long enough to know not to tell everything. Let's just say that my network is very strong. Of course we will throw bags when needed.

Because you're full of it.

Like others have said. Insurance premiums would sky rocket if you have no G-V time.
I'm sure the owner was willing to pay the extra, because he was so impressed with you and your vast experience at Eagle...and then your time in 4.5 months in Dubai.
Just curious, what did you fly in Dubai? How long did training last? Just curious how much time you can get in 4.5 months, along with getting trained in the airplane.

Honestly who cares, he may be in his GV typing this right now or he maybe a lowly eagle FO on reserve in ORD with TONS of time who is making all this up.
