PB wants larger aircraft and Bain recommended larger aircraft. Neither made any mention of the CRJ-700.
There is so much bad blood between AMR and Bombardier over that airplane that neither side would even piss on the other if they spontaneously erupted into flames.
that being said, what is the only 70 seater eagle can currently buy?
Well... it looks like that "Guaranteed AA seniority number upon hiring" is coming our way. We'll kind of know if this career path deal is true in weeks. That's the only way hiring will pick-up over here. Stay tuned for the APA-ALPA-AA-Eagle metting this 18th.
They are not going to sell us. But they still might kick us in the nuts.I really like you Eagle guys. I truly hope that AMR doesn't Sell you off because if they do, they'll turn around and kick you square in the nuts. At least that's what happened to us. Best wishes guys & gals!
But they still might kick us in the nuts.
Where did you get this information?Well, as I said: everything is pointing to AA numbers for Eagle pilots...Upgrades might not come down drastically..., they'll improve due to the new incentives to be announced....maybe 4 to 5 years in mid 2008. But at least a fairly young Eagle pilot starting now will have a shot flying those 787's (already secured with Boeing) at some point in his/her career. Eagle FO positions will become competitive.... The next couple of months will be decisive.
Things change quickly in this industry. I'll bet this will be another prime example.
Where did you get this information?
Yes, I suppose that would make sense!!From his rectal depository.
Yes, I suppose that would make sense!!
While it does look like todays meeting will result in AA numbers for all current Eagle pilots and newhires, the big unknown is how long till we make it over there.
Where do you guys get this stuff?
As expected management continues to scratch themselves and there will be another meeting Friday. I'm sure the big announcement will be Friday. I'm just sure of it.
Everyone needs to stop being a bunch of little bitc***es. Everyone with a brain knows that negotiations take time, wether it's here at Eagle, or the White House. Management is gonna try to stall as much as possible ofcourse. Lets be optimistic but dont get tooooo excited that we're going to get something in paper signed and completed on friday, nor lets be negative and act as if everyone at eagle is fu****ed.
You want more pay? better work rules? Career advancement? Then we have to work together, fight together, negotiate and negotiate, and negotiate, stand firm, be patient and above all be positive.
Most of you fa****s that just bi*** and moan just want results NOW NOW NOW NOW and expect others to do the all the work and sacrifice while all they do is sit on the side bench and wait to enjoy the reward.
