Yes, my point was that if we were spun off and we went into bankruptcy, our contract would be renegotiated.

Sectiom 6 contract negotiations usually last a couple of years. The completion of the spinoff to trigger those negotiations would be sometime in the later half of '09. Don't look for any new contractual terms until at least the Summer of 2011, unless they're favorable for Eagle pilots.
 
The apa wants all flying any american airlines or feed carrier to be done by american airlines pilots.. with that being said it is possible for them to want to merge the seniority list to prevent us from being sold. thus preventing regional carriers from flying 70 to 90 seat jets under the american connection brand. it is possible that if we merged into one list then eagle could execute its options for more crjs. or get emb to make it a 70 seat jet that would fit aa's scope. lord knows emb gave us plug type doors and and a 35, 44, 50, seat jets just for us. who knows..i can tell you one thing the atrs are sure getting tired.
