After a week and a half of waiting I find out the medical division needs more information before allowing me to go for training. Has anybody out there been banned from Eagle do to a condition they find un-airworthy? As far as I know I am healthy without a problem....Makes me wonder what the problem is.. Maybe I really screwed up that crazy computer test?? Anybody been "not hired" because of this test? Ok Cheers! Happy Flying!

Conditional offer of employment by Eagle

Hello everybody,

I had my interview with American Eagle on Thursday. I made it through the Sim check, written and hr parts. I had my flight physical the following day...It was quite intense. I must say, for the most part, my interview experience was a very positive one and despite lots of negative reports about American Eagle, this process has put Eagle in a very favourable light, and of course, is an Airline I would like to work for. The last part of my flight physical didn't seem to go well though. I am referring to the cognitive testing (test on the computer). I found it a lot more difficult and stressful than a combination of the sim check, written and human resources aspects of the process! Does anyone know how important this part of the entire process is? What if one scores very low marks on the test? Will this jeopardize ones conditional offer of employment? I'm pretty certain that other aspects of my flight physical together with my background check will be okay. I will appreciate responses to this question. Thanks in advance

Guy I interviewed with had a problem with the Cog test and had to get an additional test done. He's on the Saab in LA now. Former instructor I had went through the hoops for too much protein in his urine. He's on the MEB in DFW. They seem to make some guys do extra stuff. He looked like he was in better shape than me, but I sailed through...beer gut and all.

I waited for two months due to the AMR/NASA physical. Give them all the info they need and wait. It took me two months.

don't forget prospective employees about the rectal projectile in the medical. no one seems to be mentioning it.
