Come out to Gibbs in San Diego, California.

There are 5 BE-76's here some as low as $140.00hr with tons of MEIs willing to fight for you. Me included.

Surf, sun, chicks, and mexican food. What more could you ever want?
 
I can recommend Pinnacle Flight Academy in Norman (OKC), OK. They run a god op with great maintenance and nice aircraft. You don't spend much time on the ground as PWA (Wiley Post) is not a very busy airport.

I can't remember their prices but check out www.flypinnacle.com (bad website - good school) and give em' a call, it's worth it!

If you're interested in flying in the Northwest US, try Spanaflight at the Pierce County Airport, Puyallup Washington (1S0). It's about 20 miles from Seattle, and they have a very nice Duchess at good rates.

Yes, I second that. It's GREAT here. PLUS (in my experience) most flying club aircraft are more affordable than flight school aircraft.

My only question is why do you want a Duchess???? :eek:

Sorbi Flying Club has two that rent for $135/hr

There are 3 in Plus One that go for $145-$155/hr

Yeah, that was going to be my question as well - why are you specifically looking for schools that train in the Duchess?

Don't get me wrong - almost all my multi time is in the BE-76 and I definitely prefer it over the Seminole, but I've never heard of anyone say, "If it's not a Duchess, I'm not flying it!"

I did all my training there in a little over a year. Then instructed there durring my last year in college. After college I instructed full time for about 8 months until the airlines. Great philosophy. All weather flying, real live engine shut downs, ice, the whole tomally! The airlines really liked the North east flying on my resume.
 
ERAU PRC is losing the Be76...Being replaced by the PA-44. All the Beechcraft are slated to be gone by the end of the year (or whenever all the students currently in the Be76 are done). In addition the school is switching to part 142 resulting in the loss of the Bonanza as well...commercial pilots will earn a muti rating first and then add on the single in a fixed gear 172. Only complex single time will be for CFI course.
