you missed your flight (april 3rd)!!?!

i'm heading there next week and staying at the JW Marriott. Was told that it was a great hotel.

The JW is a nice Hotel, as is the Renaissance Dubai. The JW has a small mall connected to it and it is a short walk to City Centre. And you need to visit the Gold Souk.

I second the JW Marriot! Great hotel.... I have stayed at the Hilton as well, nice too and a great restaurant in the hotel!

It's the first time I have ever heard a controler ask me " are you in the sand yet?" the weather was 1 mile in blowing sand!

It's amazing to see the Emirates 777's lined up as far as you can see and also the new terminals for the 787 being built. There is a lot of construction going on all over there.

They wouldnt even let me in the front door when I visited there. I think its $50 just to go to the lobby?...

Any rate, we stay at the Traders Hotel. Nice place, around $140'ish per night.

The new terminal is for the A380. Double deck jet bridges! You must visit The Cyclone, I hear it is quite pleasent! Thats what they tell me anyway.

The JW is the place to be. Great restaurant's and congeries lounge is good too.
The Sheraton on the creek in ok too , good Irish bar. You have to take a cab to the mall with the Ski slope in it, very cool. no pun intended!

I think the Sofitel was pretty nice. Also its connected to a mall with cheap food.

The Cyclone----normal hours=bar......other hours=place to pick up eastern european prostitutes......or so our mechanics say.......ive stayed at a bunch of dubai hotels and had a 0400'ish van to the airport...and its funny to checkout, and watch the guys from the previous night try to bring in their ladies of the night, and the doormen turn them away......or maybe I was just jealous I didnt have a nice women from Uzbekistan escort me to my room.........
