I flew with a guy who, while pointing to a fuel lever, asked me if I ever had the urge to shut it off. I said no, so he then pointed at the other one and asked "well what about that one?". Again, I told him no. He got a relieved look on his face and said "Good, I have use the Lav!"

So, I was wondering who else is having these urges?

As long as a pilot loses their FAA medical for simply seeking psychological help, pilots will not seek it.

As long as psychological disabilities are not covered under LTD plans, pilots will hide them.

It is simply the marketplace at work.

I think you missed a poor attempt at humor... ie: as long as your not going to pull these i can go pee.

You should have said "nah, the fire T handles work much better" then maybe tossed in some repetitive rocking back and forth in your seat...
