break!!!! Had about enough of this low brow BS from the same old cast. Anyone who PFT'd should be skinned, starting with the lips. Selling out the profession BEFORE you get your uniform makes you UNABLE to pass judgement on ANYTHING related to "the profession". JO co-invented PFT @ Coex and WAY too many of you loudmouths ponied up the cash. Paying your dues DOESN'T mean I had to cut mommy and daddy's lawn for free all year in exchange for $15,000 plus, for a nifty uniform. This is giving concessions BEFORE you first day on the job.....must be something Freudian about that.......Scum

Another child with access to the parents computer. Run along little boy and quit attempting to pair off pilot vs pilot.

My first RJ came in 2000 and really didn't think that management would use them for anything other than New route exploration/ frequency enhancement etc.

When companies like Comair and XJT purchased over 300 of these planes back in 1996-8, I think that people knew what was going on with them.

You were on the "I'm getting my PIC time and getting out" selfish train and could have cared less about those behind you. Maybe you should have gotten involved at the LEC level within the mighty mesa ALPA structure and fought to keep RJ's away.

Have fun working in Denver, maybe Horizon will work out a J4J position for you in a few years.

Oh, wait, your management told you not to expect anything from the RJ's in Denver either and, based on your qoute above, you believe them like at your last regional job.

Sincerely,

B. Franklin

You've had this one coming, Ben!

I spent a total of $23,500 on ALL of my flight
training and four-year degree and was a 121 captain at
COEX by the time I was 25 years old.

Oh, excuse me! We didn't realize ‘Superpilot’ was
posting. I bet you solo’d at 16 too, huh?

Hmm, a 25 year old CA at CoEx . . . well, that
virtually guarantees that you didn't earn any of the $
that you spent to buy your job there. College till you
were 22, then we'll assume a 2 year upgrade at CoEx
(anyone ever seen upgrade at CoEx in less than 2
years? Witness Superpilot!). That gives you a year to
build time to be 'qualified' for CoEx - not nearly
enough time, even for a ‘Superpilot’. So you had some
time already before you graduated from college.

Since you spent less than $23K on your education and
training (and who says you have to pay for quality,
right?!), that means you earned your ratings at FBO’s
and built time all before you graduated, though you
somehow must have been going to school at the same
time – clearly, you had no time to hold down a job
then – you were too busy flying and going to school.
You had to be: within the age of 16 and 25, you
managed to attend school full time for 6 years (2
years of high school, 4 years of college), get your
PPL, IPL, CPL, CMEPL-I, CFI, CFII, MEI, ATP, 121 type
of some kind, and build enough time to get hired by
CoEx, as well as work at CoEx to build the seniority
to upgrade. Oh, you learned how to drive a car
somewhere in there too!

So, Mommy and Daddy not only paid for your job at
CoEx, they also paid for all your other expenses too.
It’s not really accurate when you say “I spent
a total of $23,500 . . .” is it?

And that’s assuming the best-case scenario, they you
actually were hired at CoEx as a qualified pilot. You
might not only be a PFT’r, but also someone who slid
in below the hiring mins b/c you were the CEO’s
recommendation – oh, let me guess, you also knew tons
of CoEx pilots already from your extensive flying
career who would write you recs and walk in your
resume?

All the other hypocrites here at least earned that $
they used to buy their job, whether fighting in ‘the
sandbox’, flying checks or bagging groceries – while
you were jacking off in the lingerie section of JC
Penny as a 8th grader.

What do you care how much another group of pilots
makes? If you’re ever low on cash, just run home to
Mama’, and tell her you need her to buy you another
job or another career. After all, you’ll succeed at
anything you try – 4 year degree, 121 CA, and total
douche bag, all by the age of 25!

Go grab some toilet paper b/c your hypocrisy is butt!

As a matter of fact yes.
I upgraded on the 1900 in six months.

know it all tells all

The FAA should be regulating this industry by inposing guidesline for hire, minimums quals and age. Maybe one should be 30 before holding a 121 job, so years of frieght and instruction would deem them worthy to hold the yoke of a 25 million dollar RJ.

i used 30 arbitrarily, so don't get your panties in a wad.

climbhappy,

So, should we have our military pilots wait until they're 30 until they get to sit in the cockpit of a F-16 or KC10?
