I know that GJets is not the place to apply. I understand that TSA management formed this new company to get around some clauses. When they were formed they did not have a union representation. Any pilot that flies for them is considered a tool. From what I read they have recently got union representation from the Teamsters. So for someone who really does not know the business yet, why all the animosity towards GJets? They have a union now if I have read correctly. Skywest does not have one but a lot of people say it's a great place to work for. I'm getting close to applying for a regional and will not apply to GJets, Mesa, and other "lowering the bar airlines." Still I want to know why GJets gets the treatment now that it has representation. No flamebait, just a newbie trying to learn.

I'm familiar with the situation with regard to the TSA jumpseat, but I was wondering if any other carriers had elected to simply not enter into a reciprocal agreement with these mutts.

The copy of the jumpseat agreement I carry around doesn't list them.

You may want to check on that. From what I've heard SKYW considers them to be a division of TSA, and as such, they are covered.

I don't know the company's viewpoint on it. I've never had a GJ pilot try to jumpseat so I don't know what our captains do about it.

Actually they are on the SkyWest jumpseat list seperate from TSA. If you carry around an old copy then it probably doesn't have them on it.

Where are you looking? I looked at the SAPA website and didn't see GJ on there

The list on the SAPA site has not yet been updated. The list on SWOL is always the most up to date. SkyWest added *************************s [oops..forgot about the censors..Go Jets] on our jumpseat list. The SAPA site list will be updated as soon as possible.
