Does anyone know if JetBlue still does the initial phone interviews, or do they just call and invite you to the interview like Southwest?
Also, when is their next big interview window?
Thanks!

Yes they still do telephone interviews. The next interview dates are April 21 and 22.

Not for now

I actually have a real answer for this one. This was as of the first week of March. Right from one of the phone interviewers... They have decided not to do the phone screenings, at least for a while. They're just going to see how it goes. They may start doing them again at some point. Good luck, "rebel".

April interviews? Rats! I thought JB was doing interviews every other month. Some buddies of mine interviewed first week of March so I was thinking the next round of phone calls were going to be made this week for early May interviews. Looks like I didn't make the cut again. Guess I'll just keep updating the app and waiting by the phone...

Yes, there are interviews scheduled for April. I know someone scheduled for one on the 21st.

sayagain?

Well...

This thread has been definitive.

Phone screens went away about 2 interivews ago....at least that's what I understand.

For what its worth, I DO NOT recommend getting into a long conversation with anyone with a mouth full of hamburger helper and a ton on your mind. Have your wife answer the phone, or say "no...this is his brother/cousin/buddy.....he'll be back in a couple hours...can I have him call you back?"

"Just be yourself..." is a BS answer when guys were getting REJECTED based on a 15 minute impromptu interview. I understand how JB wants to avoid bringing an obviously wrong guy all the way to New York, but at the same time a few good guys got cut with this process. This is a game you DO NOT have to play. Call back in 2 or 24 hours after you've had a moment to pause, think, and reflect.

I think JB does about 90% or more of their stuff right. This was part of the 10% I disagreed with...

See previous threads and/or write DLRedline about this subject.

JetBlue called me the other day, wanted to know if I could show a mechanic how to start the APU out here in Illinois.

Just so happens the plane had to make a "pit-stop" in Champaign in the middle of a transcon flight for gasss.

Anywho, with my vast knowledge of where to get Flight Simulator 2004 Airbus A320 manuals I was able to help!!

I told them it'd would cost $200, and I would need a french to english translator.
