Seen it mentioned a few times but haven't heard with certainty.... Will Fedex interview pilots employed at major airlines? Meaning current, non-furloughed, active seniority list people who try to begin the whole process while employed at a major.

From what I understand JL's policy to be, no. If you're a United, Delta, NW, AA guy then you will have to resign before you apply. JB or SWA, then you're good. Of course, there's exceptions to every rule. Like the AA guy who was personal friends with Bill Clinton and got Fred Smith to hire him. Or the UA guys who resigned on the day they started with FDX. My point is not to let one guy's policy stop you from applying. You never know what could happen. In addition, that policy may change when Jack retires from the SCP job.
 
Hundreds of pilots from NWA went over to different carriers, they were not furloughs.
