yes, I was wondering, when I get furloughed, will I be able to go to our express division and #1 be preferentially hired, and #2 be able to hold a captains seat in the small jet even though I only have XXXXhours and one year senority here..."

This queation is usually thrown out to see how interested you "really" are in working for their airline, and to see if you are following current events at said airline.....For example,"how will the current aircraft order effect upgrade, pay, bases, ect..." shows the interviewer you have put some thought into working for their airline. If the big issues like pay, days off, where can you expect to be based(which base is most junior),ect. don't come up in the interview, do not be afraid of asking. If you ask genaric questions like, "what kind of A/C do you currently operate or where are your current crew bases ?" They will show as little intrest in hiring you as you have shown in working for them. Try to stay away from "touchy" subjects like labor relations or sh!ty schedules. Do some research and have some questions ready before you interview. Good luck!!

they had asked at one interview, about medical history.

I had to go into alot of detail about how this one doctor wanted me to have an expensive and elaborate surgical proceedure done. I explained to them, that I had told the doctor I wanted a second opinion. Then they asked what the doctors reply was and I had to tell them that he said, "Mkay... you're ugly too."
