Why dont the same six people who comment and start every colgan thread start an airline of there own. We can all sit back and see how long you will be around.

Why don't you show you're previous profile, Ice Princess! Or did I hit you too close to home! 717 (?)

DO THE DANCE GUYS, it'll be worth it in the end, just watch your six!

As I have said before, this is the place to be bar none. There are many Colgan success stories that I am one of. I don't discount what the Colgans have done. They have made a success in an industry where successes are few. I thank them every day for what they have done and what they have given me and those like me. Sure, there are problems and complaints, but that's the same everywhere. Do the Colgan!

I saw the bigggest dork colgan CA today, me and my CA were laughing so hard i choked on my chew.

In state college looked out the right window saw a colgan CA with his hat on, with his blazer on, drinking a cup of coffee, standing next to the sabs cargo door making sure the bags where put in right, with a real cool stance. made eye contact with the FO and he gave the head shake (yea my CA sucks) must of been a new upgrade + he was a green card. This guy was the biggest dork of all times. Yea I love colgan, so this is not a knock on you guys at all, but if anyone knows this import tell him to chill out, and ditch the attitude, its going to kill a lot of people someday. Oh yea it was like 80 degrees out.

hahahhaah, man sometimes there are so many "cool" pilots in our regional line of work! "Lets go I want Viper!"

Ps. Sab is Saab.

when you've had three bags of Cheddar Snacks and two packs of those cookies because you can't afford a real lunch...and the 17 year old FA won't stop hitting the call button to ask the dumbest questions ( with or without the sterile cockpit light in) , then perhaps you are indeed " doin da Colgan "

If yur own company prevents you from getting back to yur outstationed base by cancelling multiple flights in multiple cities...you might be a colgan commuter.

when you look at the weather computer at the crew room.....ah wait, we doin the colgan...there are no weather computers!

When your left arm is about to turn into a sprintzle because that's the only thing you've had to eat in the past 3 days. Oh the buttery goodness.

Doo da da.. LOVE IT!!! Good stuff guys.

When you have to repo the plane to HEF for mx at night, then you get to HEF and all of screw scheduling has gone home so you spend the night on the couch at capital aviation cause you can't get a hotel room. Then you show up at scheduling at 6 am with "couch neck" and Irene looks at you and says "what are you guys doing here" while you look outside to see the HEF-CHO repo take off knowing it was your only way to deadhead home since you timed out 2 hours ago........ do the colgan

Have scheduling tell you they dont know what to do with you the night before, then mark you notified for something and not actually notify you - then get a call at 8am telling you they "want to notify you" for a 7:10 am show / 8:10 am departure, with a straight face. DO THE COLGAN YAH!

Fly you're a$$ off for the month and have a 100 hours before the 27th then answer your phone accidently on your day off.
Sched: "Sup, this is L....., we need you to pick up a pairing."
You: "I would love to(smugly) , but I'm already at a hundred hours
because I was extended for the last three weeks, sorry!"
Sched. "Aw sh!t, yeah you're right. Well then, Can you hop on a plane to
Albany and ferry a plane to Bangor then we might need you to
go to Houston. I'll take a reserve day away at the end of
the month."
You: " I'm timed out for the month that reserve day doe...."
Sched: "Cool, you're flight leaves at noon."

DO DA COLGAN.

I Love this job, Most who have gone on have to it admit this is some of the most fun you had flying especially the crews and characters you've worked with.

DA DA DO DA COLGAN!!!

There are about four or five regionals that it amazes me that anyone goes to work for them...and yeah, I loved my job too...met some really fine people. It will never cease to amaze me that they couldn't get on somewhere better to start with...
