UAL is still bleeding bad! Look for UAL it go back to Chp 11 soon! US Airways is barely making it (by twisting some numbers).
Delta will probably make it, but they are get smacked around hard...
Good Luck!!

It's true. To a point.

USAir was saved (or at least execution stayed) by a merger with AmWest. At least DP seems like a pretty smart cookie and stand up guy.

UAL .. . lost a third of a BILLION last quarter (hmmm, where did I leave my wallet). UAL management = same stooges who led them to bk last time, but . . . . with bonuses (you know, for their great job raping the employees and pensions)

Its all true.....I am just pointing out that there are airlines relying on DL going out of business and its not going to happen right away if at all!

The trend seems to be slowing, with 20 seat jumps from 50 to 70, and then a possible 6 seat jump.

Bye Bye--General Lee

GL or Jen or Lea, whichever you prefer..

Of course the trend is slowing... You have agreed to fly any bigger aircraft for LESS than any of the regionals fly current equipment.

Great thinking. You really are a pro at debate.

So, fish and fly, does that make you a "masterbaiter?"
You must be "master" of your own domain!

Ok. Wow. Where to start.

Why are regionals cheaper?

Is the CASM cheaper on an aircraft with fewer seats?

Or do the employees simply work for a substantially inferior contract?

I agree that management would love to get the most and biggest "Regional jets" they can find on as many routes as they can.

If they thought they could put the letters "RJ" on the tail of the 777 and get you guys to fly it for $30/hr they would no doubt jump at the chance.

If ALPA had any sense at all they would've stopped this whole "rj" fiasco before it even began. Should've left things the way they were. All turbojet aircraft to be flown by pilots on the mainline seniority list. That little jet has been a plague on this profession.
