Ahhhh, the good ole days!!!!!!!!! Im still waiting for my recall letter.......any day now..........hope they have my current address.
 
Skywest Delta SLC,MSP,CVG,ATL
Most of our Delta flying is out of SLC. We just started doing more flying out of MSP this year. It grew enough to base about 5 line mx people there. We were doing more CVG flying earlier but that has been cut down to only a few destinations, mainly to MKE I guess because we have mx base there. I think there is also a few flights out of ATL but not many.

Mesaba/xj

MSP CRJ-200 900 & SF-340(until there gone in 2011)
DTW CRJ-900 SF-340
MEM CRJ-900 SF-340

We do like 30 flights a day out of SLC but it changes every month and Managment has not wanted to open a base. We did have some kinda TDY there over the holiday but nothing since.
 
Even though we only have MSP, DTW and MEM as crew bases DL has got us all over the creation with our flying. Already mentioned was SLC, but we've got ops in CVG, JFK and ATL as well.
 
We've come a long way from the days when Mesaba was an Avro/Saab/Dash 8 operator out of MSP and DTW!!

How bout this one... Shuttle America only flew Dash 8s out of BDL in their own paint! (1998 time frame.)

Comair used to be strictly CVG and MCO (Brasilias and CRJs) ... ASA was only ATL and DFW... Pinnacle (Express 1) was J32s out of MEM... CHQ was J32s out of IND... I could go on and on! Good ol' days.
 
Just heard it was pretty unlikely to become a crew base because so far, Delta refuses to give any long term guarantees on the flying out of there...

I got the same response when talking with one of the sapa reps. I wonder what the next delta hub we will be flying out of next DTW, MEM?
