Dispatchers in CASS?

How many companies have their dispatches in their CASS agreement? Is that an industry-wide thing? Is it even legal?

SkyWest dispatchers are in CASS.

Yes, it is legal. Dispatchers are "jumpseat qualified" because they must observe from the flight deck once a year in order stay current.

Yep...jB dispatchers as well. EV dispatchers should be added in September.

Does that mean they can ride on other airlines or just their own?
I have never had an OAL dipatcher ask for a ride.

OAL as well. Back when I was commuting (pre 9-11) I used to jumpseat on several OAL to get to work and back. With only a few thousand dispatchers in the country...and only a small percentage of those actually commute, the chances of having one ask you for a ride is pretty small.
