DHL interview/Need sim time

I have an interview next month w/ DHL/Astar and will have a sim evaluation as part of the interview. This eval. will be either in a B727 or a DC8. Has anyone recently interviewed w/ them? Recommend a company where I can buy a few hours of sim time? The info on www.aviationinterviews.com is a year old and I've heard that Air, Inc. is also outdated.

The sim used at the AStar (DHL) interview is now the A300.

This is correct it is the A300, one of Pan Am Academy's old sims. Easy to fly, if you're used to steam gauges, although a bit pitch sensistive especially with power changes. Interview panel of 1 HR and 2 Pilot Types, all taking turns asking questions. Little to no technical, mainly get-to-know you type questions. good luck. Hiring into the 727SO and DC8SO, 2 727-2's coming this year. Great Company, Great pay, Great Bennies, Great Employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:​

1. 2500 Hours Total Pilot Time.


2. Successful completion of the basic Flight Engineer written examination within the previous

twenty-four months.

3. 500 hours AMEL-PIC, preferably with a certificated carrier.

4. Class I Flight Physical certification, as required by the FAA. Must be maintained.

5. ATP Certificate, AMEL, preferred, type rating.

6. Restricted Radio Telephone License.

7. Minimum of 2 years college, preferred.

8. Current Passport.

Competitive qualifications: I have about 5,000 hours. Of this 3,000 is PIC (1,500 Turbine), a type rating, Part 135 & 121 experience, B727 FE rating, 1st Class Medical, Passport and 4 yr. degree. A recommendation from another DHL pilot helped. Regardless of company and your qualifications, start your folder now and update every couple of months.
