A letter went out after originally saying furloughees could wait until recall, that wants the furloughees to now cough up approx. $ 1,000 for their uniforms!!!! LOL pathetic!

Maybe they could also send a letter to the passengers, saying that they owe a few more dollars for the travel they did on DAL!

If the uniform issue is true, then it certainly is beyond stupid.

I don't see that going anywhere fast. I think that was a mistake.

Bye Bye--General Lee

I guess thats how the top dogs figure on financing thier golden parachutes.

They cannot afford the money since they have to pay all your old bros who are greenslipping...cut those poor managers some slack! Heck--they have a terrible problem even keeping good managers without more bonuses, so it seems like the least you cheap pilots could do is chip in a little here and there.

Delta isn't the only one...

When I worked for Midwest Express, furlough #1 happened in Nov. 2001. ANY uniform balance that you had left to be payroll deducted was taken out of your last check. For most of us, that was at least 80% of your last check. Gotta feel the love...

(waiting for Chuck Yogurt to come on here and tell me to stop whining! )

At least when Indy furloughed us they ate the balance of the uniform account. And I got a Sennheiser headset on that account so at least one of us made out on that deal.

Albie's right, after all we all average 150k a year and only work 70 hours a MONTH. Damn...
