- Leather Jacket option - same vendor as NWA/UAL
- Hats optional
- Must attend the "I am not the center of the universe" seminar in St. Paul, Minnesota. Optional for civilian pilot who provide a resume.

Nice... actually though, the seminar will be sent out on CD. Delta doesn't have any employees to actually teach something.

Yes, but to get that they gave up the ability to ask for ride reports and wind checks.

Now I know you're full of it. Hats are mandatory. Just ask the JFK CP!

Yes, but did they keep the provision to ask how long the final is?

How about a class that teaches you how to ask for windchecks?

"Repeat after me: 'Wind check.'"

"Wind check"

"Very good. You pass. That'll be $10. Next, please."

They're actually saying "Win Czech", a stipulation of Delta's codeshare with Czech Airlines, but only necessary on those codeshare flights. (That's why you hear it about 50%, rather that 100% of the time.)

You guys are funny, but if you actually read the entire press release, you would have learned that "Windcheck" will be the callsign of the new, combined carrier . . .

. . . as opposed to "windfall", which is management's codeword for the merger.
