Kudos to Flyer1015 for his best suckerbait post of the day. By my count, you've already hooked 4 and one of them was a whopper.

The previous thread though about the FO logging PIC time when the Captain is in the can, that was the best one. It was amazing how many people kept falling for that one over and over and over. The poster of that one must have landed several dozen fish with that bait.

Some of these are so obviously a joke, it makes me wonder if part of 121 Indoc is removal of ones sense of humor.

Nobody has ever officially died on an airliner. But you smartasses knew that right?

Not true. As someone else mentioned if there happens to be a doc on the plane, he/she certainly can pronounce her dead.

I think what you're getting at is, if at all possible, the ill passenger is removed from the plane before being pronounced dead. Less paperwork for the CA that way.

...Its in case you didnt get a good embalmer and the stomach area wasn't aspirated well or the throat area wasn't packed...

Spitfire- A long time ago, someone was flying some remains in an unpressurized light twin one night (out of CHS for Hawthorne, in fact), when he claims that the remains "sat up" from the board or what ever they were using to transport him. Naturally he was quite shocked and non-plussed for several moments while he composed himself. Is this possible?

The reason folks are removed from aircraft and pronounced "Dead" on the jetway or somewhere else is because if they "died" on the plane, then the plane would be impounded for a while. It might be an hour or possibly several hours. Plays hell with a schedule.

Personally, I would have tried to give her mouth to mouth to see if she was breathing. I might have even used a little tongue to see if I could "pep" her up a bit. Maybe a squeeze of the cheeks.

Think about the revenue stream you could generate with a bill reader on the lav door lock. Wanna poop?
$5.00, wash after .25 for each 10 second water flow. Paper towel .05 ea. We are on to something here! Set it up so credit cards and ATM cards work also!
