In Bankruptcy Moak gave in on 76 seat jets. A grand total of 30 aircraft that were already authorized pre Moak, were allowed to place 6 extra seats in the aircraft. That's less than 1 B757.

Hmm, how many 76 seat RJs are flying in DAL colors today?

72 came from NWA regionals. 36 at Compass (with flow protection), and 36 from Mesaba. How many from Delta Regionals?

And how many on order?

Both pre-merger CBAs authorized 51-76 seat RJs. NWA authorized 90 and DAL authorized 30. Both pre-merger CBAs allowed an increase in the number of 51-76 seat RJs if certain thresholds of growth were allowed.

The JCBA took NWA's 90 authorized 51-76 seat RJs and DAL's 30 authorized 51-76 seat RJ's and established the baseline number of 120, with an increase in authorized RJs of 3/1 for each mainline aircraft above a baseline fleet of 440+N, in which N was the number of aircraft added from the NWA fleet.
