You are on a roll too. You now have hit 159 consecutive posts that add nothing of value to this board. There really is nothing going on in your head, so you TRY to slam. Again, it doesn't work, and still makes you look bad.

Bye Bye--General Lee

That's like the pot calling the kettle black.

In fact, given NWAs rather vindictive, off the wall behavior after failed aquistions, they'll probably go out and buy AirTran just to piss DAL off.

Nu

Probably be one of the best things that could ever happened to DL, instant cost structure inflation.

Calm down boys, we may be shoved into the same elevator for a career long ride. No sense getting too worked up over anything posted on a message board.

This might be the funniest post I have read in awhile. Northwest is thought of as a "local or domestic" carrier in Japan or Asia? In reality, you guys are thought of as Woody Harrelson in "White men can't jump." Give me a break. Would an Asian or Japanese person pick you over Cathay, Singapore, JAL, ANA, or Korean? No. You benefit from lots of slots and gates over there, but you have many connections from the US--which fills your flights. Let me guess, those people just can't get enough of your two ton 40 year plus stews, right? They are soooo much better than Singapore girls, right? Hillarious. And let me guess Nu, you are an expert at chopsticks too, right? Hahahahahah. Go ahead and eat your corn cobbs and ice cubes and stay in MSP....

Bye Bye--General Lee

Just like Delta in Europe huh? Oh wait, I'm sure you have a great spin as to why all europeans would rather fly Delta than Lufthansa, or Swiss or any of their native carriers. What a freakin clown....Your always right.....

Keep up the posts. In about a year you should have 15,000.....BRAVO general, BRAVO....

Only a select group of the creditors(not the majority) had a say in the offer from US Airways. I believe this was because you were in bankruptcy and I'm sure politics played a role.

The largest craditors were on the committee. The three largest of whom were Boeing, the PBGC, and the Delta pilots.

Let's face it, LCC has no friends at Boeing, the PBGC and the Delta pilots had no interest in being synerized.

We actually carry more pax across the atlantic than any airline, period(our fleet of 767s trump CAL's 757s by a mile). We also are the only Major US airline flying to Africa (North American flies a few flights a week), and we have the second largest presence to South America from the US, behind American Airlines.

But, you knew that.........again, you need to do some research.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Actually, he (The General Lee) may have a defense/alibi in the courtroom. Under the influence, ( .125%) from the "Monroe Mixture" DAL Kool-Aide (DKA 151 Proof). Give him a break with no jail time and a Field Demotion to 2LT.

Do you feel like Tom Cruise in "The Last Samuri" when you fly your 757 in NRT? Your planes might just be the smallest there, including your A330s. NuGuy says people think of you guys as a domestic-like airline there, even though most of your flights to outbound cities are once daily, compared to the 4 or 5 daily via ANA, JAL, or the national airlines of those countries. You do have a couple daily flights to Guam, Saipan, and HNL, but that is it when it comes to "frequency." Those single daily flights bring pax in to connect to your large 4:30pm push back to the US. You and your 757 do get to go to Guangzhou, Busan(those were done by A320s a few years back too), and Guam (via Osaka and Nagoya)--and Saipan too from those cities. That is one heck of a "domestic" airline--according to NuGuy.

But hey, you do fly to Asia a lot more than we do. Now if we looked at your European, African, or South American presence, we could all wince. You do fly an A330 to BOM, though. Not bad.

Read the post smartguy, I asked why europeans would want to fly Delta throughout Europe, just like you claimed asians don't want to fly NWA throughout Asia.

Keep up the good work. You contribute sooo much knowledgable unbiased info to this board. Less than 4900 posts to get to that magical number. Bravo....

The mighty 767. Slow, doesn't even carry the standard cargo containers. Cost them 100's of orders on it. The bastard child of Boeing airplanes. Boeing even considers it a Middle Airplane Category type and not a widebody except for the last model. Carry on LT Lee.

That, my friends, is the sound of relief.[/quote

Too bad ~~~^~~~, now you won't know when you guys are going bankrupt...again. I'll help you out. You guys will be bankrupt, again, in 1 year, and be liquidating in 24 months.

Don't worry they can easily pass for doorman at the Meridian with those 3 button suits. Don't stress it General/737 Plt/Fjd2(all the same retard) I'll toss you a nice shiny penny on the way by.

Diesel:
While you might have your differences/dislikes with the General, I would have to disagree on the "bastard child comment."
The 767 was never designed to fly across the atlantic, but is now the most common "wide body" airplane flying across the ocean between the us & europe. While its no 777, I think you'll find that the ER in particular, has quite a good range on it, much better than the 764, especiall considering the amount of pax that it can hold.
Now, thanks to the likes of CAL, more airlines, including DAL are using the 757 to go across the atlantic to europe. Pax hate them, but with the winglets, its cheap, and that my friend any more, is what its about!

propdog, how dare you derail the General's argument with facts. I'm sure he will find this very insulting and you will be punished.

Gotta keep the bean counters happy. Nothing like a bunch of lawyers and accountants running a flying operation. The 'ER is a better machine. Friend of mine at Boeing tells good/embarrasing storys of the mistakes made in the 767 design (Bastard Child as it was called within the company) , costing them tons of orders and money, one of which was that the standard cargo containers wouldn't fit.

You forgot one other problem with the 76: It tends to go off taxiways in CLE.

Are you telling that to the Southwest pilots the same thing about the 737 in GEG?
Come on private, you can do better than that.
Back to work you little E1 prick!
